Topic:Aspect-Oriented Programming and Software Design in Java and AspectJ
What is Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) and why is it important? In this talk, we will examine the design problems that led to the creation of AOP and see how AOP addresses them. Several example problems with solutions using Spring AOP and AspectJ will illustrate the points. Then, we will consider how AOP influences our thinking about general Object-Oriented Design principles. Finally, I'll offer my thoughts on how AOP might influence approaches to design in the future.
